From Japan, this internationally patented product is clinically tested and proven. Not like other products, the Pristine LEM is a mycelia extract from Shiitake mushroom. It means NO shiitake mushroom, or mushroom body is contained. It is done by bio-technology. We call it a nutracuetical product, which is a bridge to the future.
Especially recommended for people who want to maintain, and those who need to
promote, an optimally functioning immune system.
LEM - which primarily acts as an adaptogen, to maintain normal levels of blood sugar, and cholesterol, while also acting as an immune system stimulator. Clinical studies have also demonstrated LEM's ability to inhibit cancerous
cell growth and other types of cell mutations.
Pristine LEMP 60 capsules x 200mg
Shiitake is rich in proteins, fats, polysaccharides, lignans, vitamins, minerals, and soluble fiber. Shiitake contains all
eight essential amino acids in well-balanced proportions as well as a good blend of vitamins and minerals including vitamins A, B, B12, C, D
and niacin. Lentinan (LTN), which is the name given a highly purified polysaccharide fraction extracted from the fruiting body of Shiitake
mushrooms, is an approved drug in Japan. Some researchers consider lentinan the most potent constituent of the Shiitake. Commercial
preparations of Shiitake typically list "lentinus edodes mycelium" extract (LEM), a powdered derivative of the mushroom's mycelium
available before the cap and stem mature, which provides an abundance of polysaccharides and lignans.
More about LEM-
LEM has also proven to have a healing effect on patients suffering from
chronic Hepatitis B. Research in Japan has also been done on the usefulness of LEM at
preventing the acquired immunodefficiency syndrome, better known as
AIDS, by arresting it in the human immunodefficiency virus (HIV) stage.
It is widely accepted that in order for AIDS to develop, the HIV cells must
be able to replicate themselves. By taking over the un-infected cells and
altering the DNA of the body, it programs and tricks the body into reproducing
the virus instead of attacking it. Thus, the body's immunity is suppressed and
vulnerability to infections greatly increases, which eventually leads to fatality.
T-Cells, which make up the majority of the cells that fight foreign bodies,
significantly diminish in number when HIV becomes AIDS.

 | Shiitake. The healing power of mushrooms. The shiitake is one of the better known among the medicinal mushrooms. It has a lot of protein and
potassium as well as zinc and complex polysaccharides, both of which enhance immune competence. On
top of its health value, it's flavorful enough to be popular the world over. Japanese researchers have
done a lot of studies on the properties of the mushroom. Shiitake has been found to lower blood
cholesterol level, prevent heart attacks, fight colds and flu and other viral illnesses and prevent tumor
growth aside from enhancing the immune system. The cholesterol-lowering property is attributed to
eritadenine which enhances cholesterol uptake of tissues. The antiviral properties are attributed to
lentinan. This extract from the mushroom is currently being tested against HIV.
HOW TO CURE ADULTS' DISEASE-HEPATITIS by Dr. Kijyuro NomuraAlthough hepatitis B accounts for 20% of hepatic disease, another type of hepatitis "C' comes into the picture as a problem
recently and accounts for up to 70%. Viral hepatitis like Type B and Type C sometimes develops into liver cancer and liver
cirrhosis. Whereas Type B vaccine has been developed end is currently available, there is no such vaccine yet available to
combat the Type C virus due to it relatively recent discovery in 1989.
Knowing that SHIITAKE (Lentines edodes) mycelia is quite popular, and has an excellent curing ability for hepatic diseases, Dr.
Nomura made clinical tests using LEM to test such patients over the past 10 years.
Dr. Nomura's clinical data revealed that hepatitis B patients treated with LEM were almost free from developing liver cancer as
compared to other patients not receiving LEM treatment that did contract cancer. of 75 patients receiving LEM treatment only
one developed liver cancer. Further, 87 hepatitis B patients that were treated with LEM and interferon did not develop liver
cancer after 5 years. 5 individuals in another test group of 138 patients were not able to continue LEM treatments due to
insufficient income did develop liver cancer.
Dr. Nomura points out that LEM is effective in developing T-helper cells in the immune system, inhibiting viral replication, and
inducing leucocyte production. LEM is still, however, an expensive treatment. However, this negative point is off-set by the
benefit of no side effects, which is all to common in interferon any other types of treatment.
One 48 year old lady patient with hepatitis B, was hospital treated with "Neo-Minophage C', a strong anti-viral drug, but still
maintained a GOT level of 100. After a two month treatment with LEM, her GOTlevel fell to 20
Another 49 year old female patient with hepatitis B began administration of 3 grams of LEM per day. Within 4 months, she recovered from her systemic lassitude, a condition that he had been experiencing for over a year. Her GOT level dropped from
100 to between 20 and 30.
